Happy Passover Everyone! : )
Here's this year's Passover Rabbit piece. : )
This year's Passover is bitter sweet. For the past few years I've been doing a piece for passover, starring a character I have affectionately named the Passover Rabbit. And each year I'd get a message from a beloved family member who wanted a print of it for their home.
Sadly this very special person passed away, not long ago, and while doing the piece I thought of them.
Due to other unfortunate circumstances, this is also the first passover which I did not spend Seder dinner surrounded by family.
However though things change, they don't always have to be sad. This year another family member has requested a print of this year's Passover Rabbit piece, and I shared Passover dinner with an amazing, kind, and execptionally wonderful individual. Things move on, and traditions slowly change.
I wish each and everyone of you a happy and wonderful passover.

Running, and playing
I felt like sketching out a big fun floppy running character.
I also made a couple of new digital brushes and played around with them on this piece.
Hope you're having a happy day!

Phamily Foto...
So, I debated posting this for a while. Mainly because it was a personal piece, I did as a gift for my family.
This year, to put it very mildly has been a very difficult one. Both for myself and those I love. Along with a number of personal struggles, I lost more then one family member.
So as a gift for the holidays I gave my family a print of this image, "Phamily foto".
My intent behind the piece was a light hearted way to say this. "No matter how bad things are, no matter how much we may fight, or get on each others nerves we are, and always will be family. There for each other in the good times, and the bad."
This year seemed to be filled with many of the latter. I sincerely hope the coming year, the scales will tip in the other direction.
Enough of my Blah, Blahing, I want to leave this post on a happy note. So I will finish by saying I wish you, and all those you love a fantastic, and very happy new year!
Monster hugs to everyone!

2012 Holiday Card
Here is the card I did this year for the holidays. The holidays are fun for a lot of reasons, and one of my favorite reasons is I start to get some amazing cards from friends and family. A number of them come with letters talking about things that went on this year as well. I really enjoy reading those.
When I set out to do my Holiday card for the year I always want to try and be inclusive because we all celebrate the holiday season in our own different ways. No two families celebrate exactly the same. : )
So this year I had the wonderful @grizzlyCrim write a poem for the back of our card.
If you're fast you just might be able to have one sent to you as well. I'm currently running a contest over on my twitter account. : )
I hope you are all having an amazing holiday season!
UPDATE: the contest is now closed. But stay tunned, I run lots of contests on my facebook and twitter pages. : )

Detail of this year's holiday card
It's getting to be that time of year again. The time when I get ready for the holidays by working on my annual holiday card. I thought I'd post a teaser / detail of this year's card.
I'll post the whole card after I've sent them out. : )
I want it to be a surprise for the people receiving them. : )
Hmm, I wonder what this little one is checking out? Any guesses?
Hope you are all having a great holiday season so far!
Oh and I almost forgot... HAPPY HANUKKAH!!!!!!! : )
