i was going through your work and admiring how clean your stuff is ( i know of all the great things about your work...) but i was wondering the process you go through to clean stuff up and color it. I need to learn.

Hi Guys,
Thanks so much for all the kind words.
Scott, thanks it's good to hear that I'm not the only person who is a dork about Monster stuff.
And Lindsay There are lots of different techniques for cleaning up drawings. You can lay a new sheet of paper over the top and do your clean up on that, Or you can use a Kneaded eraser to rub down the sketch and clean up on top of it, Or you can scan it into the computer and then use the magic of the Wacom tablet to clean it up. : )
As for color, Color is a tricky delicate thing, I still feel like I'm learning about it. Making sure the colors you are using don't fight each other is a big part of it.
There are people who are amazing at color, or have a really good instinct about it. The rest of us have to learn it thought trial and error.
: ) I still feel like I have a ton to learn about it.
I hope that, that helps you a little bit.
: )
